On Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at about 11:30 a.m., members of the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad arrested Geraldo Go, 51.

He is wanted in California for the sexual assault and murder of a Huntington Beach resident in November 1984. Recently, investigators from California identified Go as allegedly being responsible for this crime.

Geraldo Go was believed to be living in Toronto. California investigators contacted the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad, who were asked to locate him. Fugitive Squad investigators located him at a Toronto address.

On Tuesday, October 23, 2007, a warrant was obtained for Geraldo Go’s arrest. He was arrested, and is scheduled to appear in court at 361 University Avenue, on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at 2 p.m. for a detention hearing. He will face extradition proceedings to return him to California.
