Detectives from 32 Division have arrested a doctor for fraud for allegedly continuing to practise after being suspended by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

It is further alleged that the doctor was practising holistic and naturopathic medicine for which he is not licenced.

Ravi Devgan, 57, has recently provided medical treatments to people who suffered from various medical conditions, including cancer.

It is believed that Devgan has received thousands of dollars for treatments and injections offered to cure the patients’ illnesses.

Devgan had offices in a number of locations within the GTA, and as far away as California. Police believe Devgan may have been treating a number of other patients with serious illnesses.

Ravi Devgan, of no fixed address, has been charged with three couts of Fail To Comply Recognizance and one charge of Fraud.
