Red Carpet Workout: Start with Aerobics

Steve Zim, the author of Six Weeks to a Hollywood Body: Look Fit & Fabulous with the Secrets of the Stars shares secrets of celebrity workouts.

The Oscars are just around the corner and celebrities are in the final stages of becoming red carpet ready.

Actors spend weeks before the Academy Awards prepping for the big day. Whether it's dieting, working out or consulting a specialist, celebrities depend on many ways to achieve the perfect physique. Now, people everywhere can achieve the look of their favorite celebrity.

The author of Six Weeks to a Hollywood Body: Look Fit & Fabulous with the Secrets of the Stars, Steve Zim says you can have a great body by including just three things in your lifestyle.

Start with aerobics, Zim recommends. Try to keep your heart rate between 60 and 80 percent of your maximum. You also need to work out a minimum of three days a week for twenty minutes with weight.

Once we've got that out of the way, we move on to nutrition. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you break the fast your body will use fat for energy," the expert say. To keep you going throughout the day, stack some snacks that are really low in calories and low or almost no sugar, for example, berries – that is a fantastic snack rich in antioxidants and anti-aging minerals.
