David Beckham is supposed to be the new International star to bring soccer to a new level in America, however so far it is failing.

After paying around $150 million American dollars for his contract David Beckham injures him self several times and his future is looking bleak.

According to the Associated Press, David Beckham sustained a knee injury in practice yesterday which according to official rules and his recovery from prior injuries could keep him from playing and could leave him on the sidelines as the most expensive cheerleader of our time unless he manages to stay uninjured.

Such a high priced contract for a world famous player, but he is older nearing the decline of his glory days, what will the future hold for soccer and can David Beckham change that future?
