Heath Ledger Leaves His Fortune to Parents, Sister
None of his assets were left to Michelle Williams and their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda.
Heath Ledger's will leaves everything he owned to his parents and sister. He had not updated his will since it was filed in April 2003, which means none of his assets were left to Michelle Williams and their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda.
Documents reveal at the time Ledger wrote the will he had less than $145,000 in New York assets. It is unclear what will be done with his trust funds, property in Australia, and he and Williams’ Brooklyn townhome.
Heath Ledger wrote a will before his Oscar-winning role in "Brokeback Mountain," where he met his former fiancée Michelle Williams. They later had a daughter, Matilda, in 2005.
Ledger, 28, was found dead in his New York apartment on January 22.
