Thanksgiving Travellers Stuck in Snowstorm; More Delays

More than 2.5 million people are expected at the nation's airports, with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday being the biggest days for air travel.

Snowstorms are causing cancellations and delays at U.S. busiest airports, including JFK in New York and O'Hare International in Chicago.

More than 2.5 million people are expected at the nation's airports, with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday being the biggest days for air travel.

A snow advisory for the Chicago area was issued for Wednesday. NBC reported that between 1 to 3 inches of snow could accumulate, but since the pavement is still warm, the accumulation would be a slushy one, mainly in grassy areas

The FAA recommends travelers arrive at least two hours before their flights to prepare for the long security lines.

Experts said waiting to fly early on Thanksgiving Day might be a better bet.
